Sunday School
Christ the King has pre-K through Adult Sunday school classes.
Those who teach and those who attend are enthusiastic and dedicated.
Approximately fifteen students attend regularly, and the teachers we have
are excellent.
Youth Group
The Youth Group at Christ the King is small but very active. The group, which is comprised of students from the sixth to the eleventh grade, meets twice monthly. With outreach as a primary focus, in 2008, the group raised enough money to buy and ship 70 flashlights to Shirotsa, Kenya, which is a village without electricity. The Youth Group also raises enough money each year to provide a scholarship to each young person who wishes to attend a summer
session at Camp Allen.
The members of the Youth Group are all active in other areas of Christ
the King, such as the Acolyte Guild and congregation-wide outreach programs.
The Youth Group is led by two very capable young adults, who are
salaried part-time.
